Grafton Harbor Happenings

Grafton Harbor has been busy planning another fun filled boating season. While you were taking your winter break, the marina was busy making improvements and additions.

The Breakwater has had some major adjustments and is lined up just beautifully.

The Rock Dike has been extended so that if another flood should hit we will be more protected from silt and debris.

The Ship’s Store and Gift Shop is packed full of gifts, clothing and boating accessories. Be the first to spend your $100.00 gift certificate while there is great selection. The store will open on April 1. If you need an item from the store before April 1 please do not hesitate to ask.

Grafton Harbor Winery will be opening in the Spring of 2009. We will have a large selection of beautiful wines, delicious cheeses and foods and wonderful gifts. Make a toast to the Mighty Mississippi and IllinoisRivers as you enjoy our wine garden on the confluence.

Event Calendar - The season can’t get under way without our harbor gatherings. The War of the Wings and our annual Dock Hop have been scheduled. Join us as we get to know your harbor neighbors and make a toast to a great boating season. Please see our event calendar for all the details and additional harbor events.

The Shower Suites - We are installing shampoo/soap dispenser in the shower suites.

The Dredging - The Good News continues - dredging is progressing very quickly. We now have a crew of 8 very dedicated men working from sunrise to sunset.

Lease Agreement’s and payments are due by April 1. If you made your pre-lease payment by Jan. 31, 2009 please be sure to pay your slip lease Payment on or before April 1, to qualify for your $100.00 gift certificate for the General Store. This gift certificate can be used on clothing, gift items and ship’s store items.
